What To Expect

Your Inquiry

If you would like to find out more about our service or check if it is the right service for you, do get in touch either by using the contact form click here or by calling us on 01476 589339. We will endeavour to respond to your inquiry as soon as possible. This will normally be within 1 working day. We will arrange to speak with you and will ask a few initial questions to check that our approach is likely to help you. We will then arrange to meet you at a mutually convenient time and date.

Your First Appointment

It is really important that there is a good fit between therapist and client and that you feel confident in the therapist you are going to work with. We offer an initial appointment without any obligation on either side. We can then decide if we both want to go ahead and if so agree the goals for therapy.

Ongoing Appointments

We will plan therapy to meet your individual requirements. Appointments are usually weekly or fortnightly but can be in blocks of time if this meets your needs. We will regularly review and evaluate therapy to ensure that it continues to meet your needs and helps you to achieve your goals.

Fees

Our fee is £45.00 per hour. Concessionary rates may be available. Payment can be made at the end of each appointment or at the end of a month if you are having regular appointments. We accept payment by cash or bank transfer.

Cancellations

We ask that where possible you give 48 hours notice to cancel an appointment. The fee for the appointment is payable if less than 48 hours notice is given.

Confidentiality

Any information you share with your therapist is confidential. There are a very small number of exceptions to this and your therapist will discuss these with you before you share any information.

Protecting your Data

When you make your initial inquiry you are agreeing to us using your contact information to make contact with you. We will only use your contact details for this purpose and we will not share this information with anyone else. At your first appointment your therapist will tell you about the information we hold, how we use it, how we keep it and how long it is kept for. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office

Our Ethical Codes

All of our therapists are accredited and accountable to their professional body and abide by their code of ethics. We continually evaluate our service to ensure we meet best practice guidelines.
